Hello , im a bigginer . If this is not the right subreddit, please direct me to where i can ask these questions
I have a few vm’s in Azure, two domains, each has a dc and a workstation
I have a two-way trust, and I have done forward dns lookup zone, so i can ping all ip and host names from every machine
But i do not have a reverse look-up zone, i have a 1.0.0.0\8 subnet, and the wizard forces me to define a x.x.x shared part in the zone , idk how to bypass it,
I know the dns is good for host resolutions, but what can be done to find user accounts across the domain? I can’t find each machine’s admin to add to security groups, and i can’t use those accounts to log in on other domains , i think those accounys are local how to turn them to domain accounts?
What should you do in a new system to set this connectivity between the accounts and machines?
