Hello guys, our organization runs an application for different customers, and sometimes when the application load exceeds and CPU utilization peaks at 100%, none of the users can log in to the system and take care of any unnecessary services to bring down the utilization, therefore not able to RDP into the machine. Users who cannot log in using the session manager on AWS can’t access that instance during peak load.<\/p>\n

    Is there a way to reserve a certain amount of CPU memory to allow RDP sessions all the time, like 1-2%?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Is 1-2% sufficient for RDP sessions?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Does giving high priority to RDP services from the task manager make any difference during peak load?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    If there isn’t any way to reserve a certain capacity of CPU, what alternatives can we approach to make sure RDP is allowed even during peak load?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
