DC 2012 migrate to 2022 …failure<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Hi ,<\/p>\n

I think I am screwed :(…<\/p>\n

I had an old server 2012 that was dying and I wanted to transfer the AD to the new server 2022<\/p>\n

I have joined the 2022 server to domain and promoted to domain controller on existing forest<\/p>\n

Transfer all fsmo roles to the new server…<\/p>\n

netdom query fsmo<\/p>\n

Move-ADDirectoryServerOperationMasterRole -Identity WIN-T0DA2AV36OS -OperationMasterRole SchemaMaster,RIDMaster,InfrastructureMaster,DomainNamingMaster,PDCEmulator<\/p>\n

Then we force demoted the old server 2012 but the new server didnt promoted to the primary DC<\/p>\n

When I open the active directory users and computers I am getting the error msg that this domain does not exit or cannot be contacted<\/p>\n
